Diver from Rutherford has Eye on State

Panama City, FL-- Rutherford Senior Chris Jackson will try and do something that no other Bay County Athlete has done before, win the state title in diving.
When Chris went out for the Rutherford Diving team, he had never competed in a dive contest.
Luckily for Jackson, a man by the name of Carl Kupper started working with the Rutherford Swimming and Diving team. Kupper himself was a collegiete diver and saw in Chris the determination and ability that was necessary to become a competitive diver.
Ever since then, Carl and Chris have focused on one goal, a state championship in diving.
Now, after dominating in Districts and Regionals, Chris will have his opportunity tomorrow (Thursday) to win State in Orlando.
