Dolphins Close 2013 with Win Over Walton

Panama City, FL --- For the seniors dressing in the green and orange, tonight would be the end.

Four years of countless practices and workouts, spending hours upon hours studying playbooks and film.

Tonight, it'd all come to an end for the Mosley Dolphins seniors. Their final game in their high school careers. And they wanted to make sure they'd go out with a win.

Here are the highlights from their matchup Thursday night with the Walton Braves.

First play from scrimmage for the visiting Braves QB Amos Williams throws deep to #2 Raheem Phillips, who pulls the ball away from the defender, and then takes it 57 yards for a touchdown, 7-0 Walton.

Later in the first, Mosley working on a good drive, the give here to Ryan Rogers, who takes it 44 yards inside the Braves 20.

A couple of plays later it's Christian Childree punching it in from the one, that ties the game at 7.

Late in the quarter, Walton lining to take the lead with a field goal, but it's blocked! Ball scooped by #7 Rayquan Jones.

Early second the Dolphins capitalize, Rogers again, this time he goes 41 yards and gives the 'Fins a 14-7 advantage.

Later in the second, Mosley adding to the lead, Childree busting his way up the middle with a hard fought 14 yard touchdown. 21-7 at the half.

Third quarter now, Dolphins facing a 4th and 12th, Dillon Brown connects with Jones for the first down.

Rogers caps that drive from the 4, 28-7

Braves would get the last score of the game, Azende Ray catches with the screen and takes it in for six.

But the 'Fins win by a final of 28-14. Mosley ends the year 6-4, and the Braves finish 5-5.
