Lynn Haven, FL---The Mosley baseball team is enjoying some special postseason support from it's fan base and the community. So says the team's coach and players.
Todd Harless and company still fighting for a 6A title, still working towards their trip to Fort Myers and the State Finals next week.
The team winning their region final last Friday, then taking some time off before three days of practice this week.
The Dolphins with all three previous playoff wins on the road, so traveling for the Finals no big deal. They had good fan showings at Pace, Crestview and Jacksonville, they're expecting the same in Fort Myers.
And they're getting big time support before they even pack for that trip!
"We've got a lot of support from our fan base," says coach Harless "and people that have played at Mosley before and just folks in Lynn Haven and Panama City. I've had several teachers come to me today to hand me a check for our trip. That's special to know, they know how hard the kids are working, they care about the kids."
Pitcher Austin Bizzle says the players feel that same groundswell of support.
"We've been getting a lot of support, everyone in the hallways supporting us, going to games, buying t-shirts. It's just a lot to help us out."
The Dolphins will leave Monday, practice at USF in Tampa, then finish the trip to Fort Myers. Another workout Tuesday there, the game against King set for Wednesday at one.
