Panama City, FL---The Mosley Dolphins make it two for two over rival Rutherford on the diamond this season, winning their game Saturday at Bay 5-3.
Mosley hosting the game at Bay, because Frank Field was still too soggy from the week's rain.
The Rams seeming more uncomfortable on that Bay field, as the Dolphins were able to post five runs in the first three innings, thanks to some help from the Rams, who made three errors.
A Clay Causey rbi double put the first run on the game in the first. Then after a third strike hit the dirt, the Dolphins first inning rally continued as Rutherford catcher Jeremy Leno failed to throw the ball to first to get the final out of that inning.
Sean Maddox made the Rams pay dearly for that with a two out, bases loaded bouncer down the left field line that scored two more.
In the bottom of the second, Connor Greene's rbi single to right made it 4-0.
Another Mosley run scored in the third when Brendan Fox broke for third on a ball in the dirt at the plate. Fox scored when Maddox's throw to third sailed into left field. That made it 5-0.
The Rams came back with a run on an infield single by Leno in the 4th. They got two more in the 6th, but Westin Bizzle came on in relief of Andrew Deramo and nailed down the 2 run win. Mosley's now 8-0 overall, 4-0 in 5A-1 play, with two of those wins over Rutherford.
