Dolphins Looking to Regroup After Losing District Title

Lynn Haven, FL---Several area high school baseball teams are now looking ahead to first round playoff games. The teams in the larger classes will play this coming week.

That includes Mosley, the runner up in 6A district 2. They lost their district title game Thursday night to Crestview 3-2. Dolphins head coach Todd Harless says his guys have dealt with that loss and are already looking ahead to that playoff opener.

"Well you always want to win the district championship. We won it last year. And it's a good feeling going into the playoffs after winning the district championship. But our guys are focused. They know that we got 13 hits last night but just couldn't get the big one. Our guys fought well, both pitchers threw well. Once again I think that's our third loss of the year and all three of them we've scored three or less runs."

Harless says his guys are still upbeat, knowing they're 23-3, an indication they're capable of beating anybody when they play to their capabilities. Mosley will play at Pace in their playoff opener Wednesday.
