Panama City Beach, FL---The Mosley boy's soccer team saw it's season come to a disappointing end Friday night at the Gavlak Sports Complex, losing to Gulf Breeze 5-0 in the region quarterfinal match.
Gulf Breeze jumped out to a quick lead less than five minutes into the match when Lucas Zalar scored on an athletic play.
The Mosley offense had some first half chances but couldn't find the back of the net, while Alex Gentili worked in goal to keep Mosley close at the half 1-0.
In the second half, Zalar scored again on a header off a long throw-in, and that opened up the flood gates, Gulf Breeze getting three more late second half goals to put it away 5-0.
In the highlights attached above, Mosley is in the white, trailing in the early first half, Alex Gentili under fire suffers a close call.
Then on this kick from about 35 yards out, he goes up and makes a spectacular save.
At the 56 minute mark though, there's little Gentili can do about Lucas Zalar after putting a beautiful header in the back of the net to make it a 2-0 Gulf Breeze lead.
Mosley trying to counter, had some opportunities, like Jake Palmer blasting with the left foot, but it sails high.
Gulf Breeze comes back and gets a goal from Mathew Cutler at the 68 minute mark, and adds two more after that.
