Crestview, FL---The Mosley Dolphins are still playing baseball and now plannig a trip east for the 6A Region Finals. The Dolphins earning that berth with a 3-0 win over Crestview at the latter's park Tuesday night in their 6A Region Semifinal game.
Roman Donofrio starting for Crestview who made it through the first couple of innings unscathed. In the top of the 3rd though the Dolphins loaded the bases against Donofrio and Jordan Larry came up with the big hit, a two run double which scored Bo Kelly and Joey Hair.
Andrew Deramo pitched through some early trouble and was able to protect that lead into the 4th when he was relieved by Ausitn Bizzle with runners and first and third. Bizzle ended that threat with a strikeout of Crossoure.
In the top of the 5th the Dolphins scored again when Clay Cause drove home Larry with a sacrifice fly to center field. Bizzle made that lead stand finishing out a shutout, the first time in fact Crestview has been shut out all season.
So the Dolphins, now 26-3, will play on the road again Monday for the region title against the winner of Tuesday's Middleburg-Atlantic Coast game in the Jacksonville area. It will be Mosley's 4th trip ever to the region finals, as the program looks for it's second state championship, the other coming in 2002 under then head coach Doug Lee.
