Hoover, AL---For the Florida Gators it is likely to be this simple in 2014. As Jeff Driskel goes, so go the Gators. Fans don't have to look back too deep into the past to see proof of that. Driskel hurt in game three, the Gators lost 7 of the next 8 games.
The redshirt junior was among the Florida players Will Muschamp brought up to the SEC Media Days in Hoover this week to talk about the season ahead.
Among other things, Driskel talked about having to adjust to another offensive system, under his third offensive coordinator at Florida, Kurt Roper. Part of the plan, to make Driskel a bit more mobile!
"I feel very comfortable." Driskel said Monday in Hoover. "It's just being able to use your legs is something that's huge, it helps out a lot. It takes a little bit of stress off of having to complete passes against some of the best d.b.'s and some of the best pass rushers in the country. I think I'm picking it up really well. When you're college football for years, it comes more naturally to you."
Driskel saying up there one offensive player to watch is #11 there receiver DeMarcus Robinson. Jeff thinks he has the chance to have a big season.
The Gators report in less than three weeks, they open the season at home on August 30th against Idaho.
