Omaha, NE--It certainly has to be one incredible experience for Mosley and Panama City Swim Team member Michael Duderstadt.
The senior to be is in Omaha Nebraska, where the United States Olympic team swim trials are taking place.
Michael won't race in his 200 breaststroke prelim heat until Thursday, but he has had a few workouts in the pool up there so he is getting used to the conditions of that venue. We spoke with Michael and his PC Swim Team coach Jonathan Kaplan about that time in the pool.
"The training in the pool is helping a ton," says Kaplan "because he's getting used to the walls. And he's, it's a very different situation to get up in front of large crowd like that. So he's getting more acclimated to the surroundings. And I think he's gonna do a fantastic job."
Duderstadt agrees with that assesment about his time spent in the pool so far.
"It's a major factor, because like Jonathan said, there's different walls and different surroundings that, it takes some getting used to. It's undescribable (sic) honestly. It's great being with all the big names and still being able to swim with them. Just being around, it's just great."
Michael talking about watching Gator alum Ryan Lochte edge out 14 time gold medalist Michael Phelps in the 400 Individual Medley. Those two go head to head again tonight in the 200 freestyle finals.
Duderstadt's 200 breaststroke prelim is Thursday morning , the semi's are Thursday night and the finals are set for Friday night.
