Panama City Beach, FL-- Call it much deserved recognition from the home town folks. Mosley senior to be and Panama City Swim team member
Michael Duderstadt honored tonight by the Panama City Beach city council Thursday night.
Duderstadt is the 17 year old who made it to the U.S. Olympic Qualifying Meet last month in Omaha Nebraska.
He failed to make the Olympic team in the 200 meter breaststroke, nobody expected him to make the team. Still it was great experience, and a great accomplishment and tonight the council acknowledged that!
"It's pretty cool," says Duderstadt "I'm honored to have it and hopefully gonna be a good day. It was a great experience, probably one of the best of my life. I was really honored to be there and hopefully it will transcend and give me good experiences for future races and future competitions."
Michael now setting his sights on his senior year, and choosing a college program to swim for, the offers are coming!
