The Eagles attacking early and often in the first half, with several shots on goal stopped by Bay's keeper Zach Johnson. Eventually though the Eagles would get two past Johnson, one at the 33 minute mark on a kick point blank by Joey Bohler.
Then another less than a minute later, a rocket shot fired by Jeremy Brown from about 25 yards out. So it was 2-0 into the intermission. Niceville adds 4 more in the second half to win by the 6 goal margin.
The attached video shows the following:
A misting rain falling as these two got things going.
Bay keeper Zach Johnson under siege in the first 40 minutes, first off the throw in, three straight Niceville headers put the ball towards the goal, but Johnson's there to grab the slippery ball.
Then off another throw-in, a blast from way out, but Johnson has that measured as well.
At the 17 minute mark, corner kick for the Eagles, and that header goes just wide, still scoreless 30 minutes in.
At the 33 minute mark Niceville gets on the board, Joey Bohler taking the nice assist and blasting it past Johnson.
Less than a minute later, Eagles come right back, this time it's Jeremy Brown firing from about 25 yards out and finding the back of
¶the net, 2-0 Eagles into the half. They win 6-0.
