Niceville, FL---It's a regular occurrence for Coach John Hicks and the Niceville faithful to see their student athletes sign division one scholarships. This year's signing day Wednesday did not break that tradition.
Coach Hick and the Eagles watching two of players sign scholarship offers. Actually kicker Andrew Mitchell accepting an appointment to the Naval Academy.
His teammate Nick Haynes, a 6 foot 3 inch 295 pound offensive lineman, will be part of the new era of football at Kentucky. This is what Haynes had to say shortly after his signing.
"I'm very excited, I mean the whole month has been so hectic I haven't had a chance to let it sink in yet. But when I do I'm pretty sure it's going to be the greatest feeling of all time.
Haynes went on to say he feels he can play either guard or tackle for coach Stoops at Kentucky, he just wants to learn and contribute as quickly as he can up there.
