Eagles Win Again, Beat Fletcher 38-17

Niceville, FL---The Niceville Eagles play on and up next comes the 7A State Semifinals. The Eagles beating Fletcher Friday night 38-17 on the home field, making it 3 straight home wins in this postseason.

The Eagles got the first early break when they recovered a fumble at the Fletcher 28 yard line. A short time later Tayjon Culley turned that into 7 when he scored from 8 yards out to give Niceville a 7-0 lead

On the ensuing kick the Eagles go with the pooch kick and they wind up recovering that ball at the Fletcher 28 again.

That drive ends with Tyre McCants scoring on a 9-yard run, Eagles lead Fletcher 14-0 with 6:41 to go in first quarter.

Eagles had it again near midfield near the end of the quarter but they fumble it away and Fletcher turns that into points when on 4th and 6, Luke Medlock hits Aberion Brown with a 31-yard pass and it's 14-7 Eagles.

Early second quarter the lead is stretched to 10 when Zach Baily hits a 33 yard field goal. Then after stuffing a 4th and 2 at Fletcher's
it's Hooker to Culley for 20 yards making 24-7 Eagles at the half.

The Eagles add two more second half touchdowns and win it 38-17 So come next Friday they'll host Osceola in the state semifinals with a berth in the state championship game on the line there.
