MOBILE, Ala. (AP) -- Janoris Jenkins is spending the week trying to convince NFL teams he can play on the field and behave off it.
The former Florida cornerback is participating in the week-long Senior Bowl audition capped by Saturday's game. Jenkins spent last season at Division II North Alabama after getting kicked off the Florida team following the third arrest of his college career and second in a three-month span.
He says that experience "humbled me down a lot."
Some NFL draft analysts still project Jenkins as a potential first-round pick.
Team officials have asked plenty of questions about his past this week. Jenkins says the message he's tried to convey is that he's humble and respectful and that the "decisions that I made in the past are behind me."
