Tallahassee, FL---Call it a nice reward for Florida State's men's head coach Leonard Hamilton.
He's earned a contract extension and a nice raise with FSU that takes him through the 2016-17 season.
The two time ACC coach of the year, who's Seminoles are the second winningest program in the ACC since the start of the oh-5-oh-6 season, currently makes 1.75 million a year.
After December when the new deal kicks in, he'll go past the two million a year mark, eventually capping out at 2-point-25 million by 2017.
And he gets 200 grand bonus simply if the 'noles make the NCAA tourney,
Basically he'll become the second highest paid hoops coach in the league, behind only Coach K who makes 7 million plus annually.
FSU missed out on the tourney last season, with an 18-16 record, losing to La. Tech in the first round of the NIT.
