FSU Gears Up for Murray State

Tallahassee, FL---The Florida State Seminoles are now just a few days away from their 2012 debut. That opener comes at home Saturday when Jimbo and company host Murray State, a team that is not expected to give FSU too much trouble.

All in all coach Fisher feels pretty good about his team's fall camp, the lost days to bad weather notwithstanding.

"We're very excited to get the season kicked off." coach Fisher says. "We had a very good fall camp. Really like where our kids are. Been very fortunate where injuries go. Had a few nicks and nacks, but for the most part pretty good camp, very physical camp. You know I think our kids are ready to play, anxious to see another opponent. You know looking forward to that, looking forward to getting a good week of practice in."

Kickoff at Doak set for 6 eastern time. Florida State is a heavy favorite, in fact most odds makers haven't even attached a spread to this game so far.
