FSU Hoping Fans Give Them the Edge Saturday

Tallahassee, FL---The game at Doak Campbell Saturday night is the biggest game on the college football schedule this weekend, number 10 Clemson at number 4 Florida State!

Hard to believe this will be the first match up between two top ten ACC teams in five years, but that's the fact.

Obviously the winner will remain top ten, for FSU it might mean a number two or three spot, if Oregon loses to Arizona.

At any rate, expect a raucous atmosphere Saturday night at Doak, certainly that's how FSU's Jimbo Fisher wants it!

"I think any school wants a home field advantage and that support from the fan base. And I think it will be a great environment, I really do. And I think it's very important. But again if I could get 'em on the field to block and tackle, we could have 83 thousand versus 11 (laughs) that would be real good. But you can do that as close as you can by keeping the atmosphere that way and being very supportive of your team and doing those things."

FSU favored by 14 going in. By the way the last game between two top ten ACC teams, 2007, Matt Ryan and number 2 Boston College beat number 8 Virginia Tech. Unranked FSU then beat B-C a week later.
