Tallahassee, FL----It's good news Friday for the Seminoles in terms of five star recruit Demarcus Walker. He's now been cleared by the NCAA to begin practicing with his team come August.
Walker, an early enrollee, had to sit out spring practice, watching his new team with just a jersey and helmet on, unable to participate, as the NCAA clearinghouse looked into the credit he received for one of his prep classes.
In an 8 word announcement Friday the NCAA announced Walker had been cleared.
Demarcus originally committed to 'bama, then switched to FSU after Tide assistant Jeremy Pruitt was hired as the 'noles defensive coordinator.
The defensive lineman out of Jacksonville is expected to compete right away for playing time.
