Tallahassee, FL---Florida State has had four players from this year's roster taken in the first 10 rounds of the MLB Draft.

The top selected Nole was All-American pitcher Luke Weaver, who was taken 27th overall in the first round Thursday by the St. Louis Cardinals.

Weaver spoke to the media in Tallahassee Friday, expressing the Cards were the team he hoped would call his name. It just hasn't hit him yet that it actually happened.

"It was a great moment," said Weaver. "One I'll never forget. My stomach, I've never felt anything like that before. I never felt like my heart wanted to leave my body so fast. We're just so pumped and so ecstatic and I'm just ready to start the next chapter."
