FSU's Easterling going pro

TALLAHASSEE, Fla- The Seminoles will head into next football season down one of their two most experienced receivers, Taiwan Easterling.

Easterling's decided to pursue a career in pro baseball, he's signed with the Chicago Cubs, which chose Easterling in the 27th round of the June draft. Easterling, a senior to be, was Florida State's second leading receiver last season with 43 catches and 551 yards. He led all receivers with 5 TD grabs.

This leaves Bert Reed now as the only really experienced receiver for E.J. Manuel who's heading into his first full season as the starter at QB for Jimbo Fisher and the 'Noles. Bert, the Bay alum, with 58 catches for 614 yards and two td's last year. Certainly some underclassmen are going to have to step up.
