Lynn Haven, FL---The Fort Walton Beach Vikings spotted the Mosley Dolphins an early 15 point lead but rallied big time in the second half to beat the 'fins by 30, 90-60 Tuesday at Mosley.
Vikings coach John Lavin putting one of his players, Tyrone Culbreath on a first half suspension. Ty came back to score 13 in the second half, that to go along with a game high 25 by 6-11 senior John Egburu. The Dolphins getting 20 from Nat Dixon in the losing effort.
Fort Walton Beach now 4-1 on the season, 1-0 in 6A district 2 play. The Dolphins fall to 1-4, 0-1. The attached video shows the following:
Dolphins in the home white and coming right at you, senior Nat Dixon perhaps knowing a college scout was in to see him tonight because he starts out on fire, first from one side of the wing, then the other, both treys.
Then he finishes the break with the nice layup. Mosley up 8 very early.
The Vikings trying to fight back, the plan for them, work it inside to the 6-11 senior John Egburu, that's a good plan, one dunk here on the assist from Blake James.
Then it's Mckinley Stephens, we assume, laying it off the glass for Egburu, who's a South Florida comitt, two more for the Vikes.
Dixon comes right back goes after the rebound, gets it, puts it back with the one handed shot, Mosley up by 15 into the second quarter. But again the Vikings coming back to win bi 90-60.
