Fisher Enjoying Experience Factor So Far For Some Young Seminoles

Tallahassee, FL---The Florida State football team is getting set for it's second road trip of the season and it's 4th game overall.

That comes up against Boston College Saturday afternoon, and will mark a return to ACC play for the Seminoles.

FSU opened with a league win at Pitt, then came back home for convincing wins over Nevada and Bethune. Those latter two certainly over matched, still Florida State put up the kind of numbers a good team should have, so some measuring stick there.

Those games also giving Fisher and his staff the chance to sub freely with many of the younger players, creating a better depth situation in terms of experience.

"I think if you feel more comfortable putting them in," coach Fisher says "with the knowledge of what they're doing, the consistency, the technique and assignments and the things they do. Because ability is never the issue. It's just about technique, assignments and just getting the playing time to relax and do what you're doing. And taking it from the practice field to the game field and you see that more and more, and you feel much more comfortable and you keep getting them reps and keep developing them. And we're gonna keep developing all those guys."

That game in Boston set for a 2:30 central time kickoff. The Seminoles are favored by 23.
