Fisher Likes The Way His Team Handled Adversity Saturday

Tallahassee, FL---It's simple math, and good math so far in Tallahassee where the Florida State football team is concerned, 4 games in, and 4 in the win column.

Perhaps not a huge surprise given Florida State's schedule so far, but no doubt about it the Seminoles are playing, and winning games like a top 5 team should!

Saturday yet another good test, going on the road in conference play, and falling behind 17-3 early.

Did they panic, no, they rallied to win the game 48-34, and though you certainly don't want the defense giving up the number it did, overall, Jimbo has to be happy with the effort, and said as much Monday!

"Always great to get a road win." Fisher said at the beginning of his Monday press conference. "I think it's very tough anytime you in conference, to win on the road, and play well. BC always plays us very well there, very physical football team, tough football team. Well coached, I thought they did a great job with the game. Very proud of our players, the way we competed in the game. I thought we bounced back from some situations in the game. Kept our poise, very proud of that. Still we're continuing to grow as a team, have to keep finding things, that consistency. Doing some nice things in all three phases but in all three phases we have to continue to improve."

Jimbo and his coaches now working the players towards a home date with Maryland Saturday. The Terps one of the surprise teams of the ACC so far, 4-0 with a win over West Virginia, which Saturday beat 11th ranked Oklahoma State. That game at Doak Saturday noon eastern. So bring the sun block.
