Fisher Talks About His Seminoles After Wednesday's Scrimmage

Tallahasse, FL---The suspense continues to build in Tallahassee. Remember earlier in the week coach Jimbo Fisher said he was going to name his starting quarterback following the team's Wednesday scrimmage.

That means we likely know in the next day or two if it will be Jameis Winston or Jacob Coker, both redshirt freshman.

No cameras allowed of today's scrimmage.

Coach Fisher saying Wednesday afternoon he saw plenty of good plays on both sides of the ball in the scrimmage, adding he's pleased with the way both QB's, Jameis Winston and Jacob Coker performed.

Asked when he'll make his decision on the starter Fisher replied "I won't put a a timetable (on it) but it could happen (this week). I'll wait and look at the film and talk to the staff again. I know one thing, we've got two very good quarterbacks."

If a decision comes this week it could happen Friday. Fisher will first address fans at the Kickoff Luncheon and later in the day will meet with the press following the afternoon practice.
