Tallahassee, FL--FSU is working under the lights, but they're not practicing at night.
For the second straight day Jimbo working his guys early in the morning, beginning when it was still dark, trying to avoid bad weather. A 5:30 start to practice on Thursday.
Florida State now through it's 4th day of fall practice, though again, having lost a good chunk of time outside to rain and lightnning, you wonder how much is getting done? Here's Jimbo after Thursday's practice.
"Not enough consistency on offense but gave up too many big plays on defense. That's, you gotta be, that's not enough consistency. But it's the 4th day, that's probably where it's gonna be. But it was a good, physical day. Like the way we did some things, our effort is good. We've got to execute better on both sides of the ball, as we learn what to do. Got a lot of young guys out there."
FSU was supposed to take Friday off, but because of the missed time, they will practice Friday.
It's into full pads for the first time Saturday. Media and Fan Day set for Sunday.
