Tallahassee, FL--Florida State released it

Florida State backup quarterback E.J. Manuel looked stellar a year ago when he had to come in and replace Christian Ponder, going 3-1 as a starter for the Seminoles.

Tallahassee, FL--Florida State released it's 2011 football schedule Monday, a slate that includes home games against Oklahoma and Miami, a Thursday night trip to Boston, and a road game in the Swamp. Call La-Monroe and Charleston Southern the appetizers before things get real, the Seminoles host Oklahoma on September 17th, then play at Clemson. An open date follows, before road trips to Wake and Duke. then it's home for games against the Terps and Wolfpack, then on the road to Boston College in a Thursday night game in early November, they play Miami late this year, November 12th, before the conference finale against Virginia. Then the rivalry game at Florida. 7 home games in all for a team that will go into next season with high expectations.
