Florida's Andre Debose Out for Season with Torn ACL

Gainesville, FL---The Florida Gators dealing with some rather bad news concerning their receiving corps, already a bit of a question mark going in to the fall.

Redshirt senior wide receiver Andre Debose.suffered what has turned out to be a season-ending knee injury in a non-contact
drill during practice Tuesday night. It's a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, he'll have surgery once the swelling goes down.

Debose with 8 starts over 31 games, 29 catches for 15 hundred yards and 4 td.'s, he also has a school record 4 td.'s on kickoff returns.

Many expecting Debose this season, to finally live up to the hype surrounding him coming out of high school.

Coach Muschamp saying Wednesday "I know that Andre is disappointed. He had been doing very well in camp and we were more than pleased with his effort and attitude. It is unfortunate and you feel bad anytime someone is injured."

Debose could rehab and petition for a medical redshirt, or could take his chances in the draft.
