Florida's offense prepares for Bama's defense

GAINESVILLE, Fla- The game of the week in the SEC takes place in the Swamp, as 3rd ranked Alabama comes south to take on the 12th ranked Gators.

One of the interesting facets to this one, how will Charlie Weis and that pro style Florida offense handle Alabama's super talented and smothering defense.

"I think that it's unique when you come against a defense that is solid at every position. That doesn't happen very often. There's two things that you look at when you study an opponent. Most people talk about what do they do on defense schematically. I always start with personnel. I always look for weak links in personnel, so people that you could attack. And this is an unusual group because they really don't have one."

The good thing for Weis is he appears to have rebuilt QB John Brantley's confidence to a certain degree. And the Gators have two very potent weapons in Rainey and Demps who at the very least provide a speed edge for the Gators. It certainly should be a very entertaining matchup, kickoff in Gainesville just after 8 eastern, Tide favored by a field goal.
