Football Recruits Battle in Max Emfinger All-American Bowl

Panama City, FL --- Friday afternoon at Tommy Oliver Stadium, some top high school football talent was on display in the 10th annual Max Emfinger All-American Bowl.

There's the man the game's named after. Emfinger worked the sidelines, as players from all over the country, and those from right here in Bay county looked to impress.

Like Rutherford QB Dallas Davis who got the start for the East.

First quarter, first drive, Davis avoids the pressure and slings it to Ryan White for a 19 yard gain.

Same drive, a key 3rd down, Davis converts rifling it to Antonio Johnson for 23 yards, but the Ram QB would be intercepted by the West defense two plays later.

So still scoreless in the second until Chipley's Kobe McCrary takes the handoff and goes pounding up the middle for the 10 yard East score. He crossed the plane before fumbling.

Davis added a 5 yard run TD late so the East squad featuring Bay's Keith McNeil, Ethan Brown, and Coach Jimmy Longerbeam and Arnold's Dominique Batiste take it easy 30-0.
