Foster signs, Bucks and Dolphins honored by School Board

SAND HILLS, FL (WJHG/WECP) Tuesday was a big day for Bozeman's Logan Foster.
He and the Bucks coming oh so close to winning the 1-A title, losing in the championship game to Chiefland in a tough 9 inning game.

No doubt it's some consolation for Logan to be able to put his signature to a college scholarship offer.

That's exactly what he did Tuesday afternoon at the school, signing on with Andrew College, a junior college in Cuthbert, Georgia.

Logan a big reason the Bucks won the 1A-4 district title and played for a state title, hitting .381 this season with 11 extra base hits and 12 rbi.

And speaking of Logan and those Bucks, they, and the team from Mosley, spent a little time at the Bay District School Board meeting Tuesday.

Both the Bucks and Dolphins honored by the Board for their accomplishments this month. Again the Bucks had the winning run on base a few times in the late innings of that 9 inning loss to Chiefland in the 1A championship game.

The Dolphins had three straight playoff wins to make it to Fort Myers, then got a win over Collier in the 6A state semifinal, eventually losing to nemesis Archbishop McCarthy in the title game.
