Marianna, FL---The Chipola women's basketball team left for Ocala and the FCSAA Championship Tuesday afternoon, as the Lady Indians are looking to add another accomplishment to their incredible season.

The top ranked team in the tournament enters play as the heavy favorite, after going undefeated in arguably the toughest conference in all of Juco ball on the way to winning the progam's first Panhandle title in decades.

But the past is in the past. Chipola wants a state title now.

"Winning the conference championship is wonderful, it's great," says head coach Greg Franklin. "First time in 24 years. it's something we should be very proud of. We should be very proud of it, but it's in the rear view mirror now. State championship is on the line now. We play Palm Beach com the 6th at 6:00. That's the most important thing we can eyeball right now. And then we'll think about who we play the next round"

The quest to add another banner begins in that Palm Beach game Thursday at 5 central Thursday.
