FREEPORT Fla,- The Freeport bulldogs are just one of two area teams still practicing, and still working towards another playoff game.

The Bulldogs opened the postseason this past Friday night with a two touchdown win over Liberty. So for the second straight season, they'll be hosting a second round playoff game, or 1-A region final, it comes this Friday against district foe Northview.

"...You know our seniors know what it's like to be in the playoffs, they know what it's like to be successful," Head coach Jim Anderson said. "And that's part of the reason we're where we are now because of our seniors and the guys that played last year, know what it is to be successful and know the commitment and the drive that you have to have."

Freeport won the matchup with Northview back in October by 14. The Chiefs are coming off their first round win at Blountstown. That game 7:30 central Friday. The other area team still working this week is Choctaw. We'll hear from them later in the week.
