--Week 2 of the High School Football season provided us with plenty of action, led by the Arnold Marlins who scored two 4th quarter touchdowns to get a comeback win over visiting FSU. Ray Peed with 3 interceptions in that game, including a interception return for a touchdown, Marlins with the 13-10 win go to 2-0. Bay traveled down to Port St. Joe and though they sputtered early offensively, they did come away with a 19-0 win. Mosley meanwhile having to wait out some lightning and a power outage against Escambia. The Dolphins coming up on the short end of a 49-39 score. The Rutherford Rams also start the season 0-2, falling at East Gadsden by a 49-34 score. Graceville meanwhile coming up with it's first win of the season, quarterback Preston Nichols 5 first half touchdown passes, leading the Tigers to a 55-20 win.
