Friday Night Overtime Week 8 Schedule

Undated----Niceville and Blountstown remain unbeaten, while Bay comes up with a big win in their rivalry game over Rutherford. Those the headlines coming out of week 8 of the High School regular season.

The Eagles getting tested by Fort Walton Beach, but backup qb John Secord, filling in for Ashton Hooker, the Niceville starter who broke his hand in practice last week, leads the way to the 28-21 win. Hooker by the way expected back after Niceville's bye week.

Blountstown meanwhile going to 8-0 and 3-0 in 1A district 3 with a 14-13 win at Chipley. Blountstown trailed 13-0 in the second half before rallying for a td in the 3rd on a Hunter Jordan td run, and a Jordan td pass in the 4th. The point after turns out to be the winning margin. Blountstown nailing down their district title with that win.

And at Tommy Oliver Friday, Rutherford and Bay go back and forth but it's the Tornadoes coming up with a 26-20 win. They were tied at 14 into the break. The Tornadoes took the lead with 2 second half touchdowns, the Rams rally with a score in the 4th, but Bay hangs on for the win 26-20. Just the second Bay win in that series in the last 6 years.

All the scores are below, and the video from Friday Night Overtime is attached to this story.
