Gainesville, FL---The Florida Gators continue to climb up the A-P poll.

Florida moving from four to two in the rankings out Monday. The gators coming off two more blowout wins this week, of South Carolina and 16th ranked Ole Miss.

Florida's record now 18-2 overall, 8-0 in the SEC, the average margin of victory in those conference wins, 28 points.

Billy Donovan's bunch now riding a ten game winning streak.

Coach Donovan loves the 74 points per game average, but he loves even more the fact they're giving up just 50 a game, second best in the nation.

"I think because our guys have defended well, you get more and more excited about playing defense. And I've said this before, most teams enjoy playing offense more than you enjoy playing defense. But our guys I think have understood the value of playing good defense."

Next up for the Gators, a trip to Fayetville and a Tuesday night game against 13-8 Arkansas.
