Gainesville, FL --- After a Sugar Bowl loss to Louisville last January, the Florida Gators hope to cash in on high expectations for their program in 2013.
They start their path towards playing for a championship by hosting Toledo Saturday in the Swamp. Coach Will Muschamp says how last year ended has no bearings on how the new season will go.
“I think different guys are motivated in different ways,” said Muschamp. “I think regardless of how you ended the season doesn’t effect how you play the next season. Certainly in the off-season, different guys were motivated in different ways, and I think that’s something a lot of our guys have taken forward with them.”
The Gators enter the new campaign ranked tenth in the preseason polls. They kickoff play Saturday after noon.
