OMAHA, NE- The 2011 college world series championship final between Florida and south Carolina begins Monday night.

Florida and south Carolina shared the conference SEC regular season title with Vanderbilt. They also played a three game series in this season so they are familiar with one another.

They are obviously the two hottest teams in the country, neither has lost a game this college world series, but Florida was able to keep its pitching staff on schedule and that could be huge in this series.

Either way both teams feel ready for the game knowing they've faced the best while playing in the sec.

"We feel like is certainly the best conference in the country," Florida Coach Kevin O'Sullivan said. "I think playing an SEC schedule has certainly prepared us for this opportunity."

Game 1 begins at 7 p.m. central.
