GAINESVILLE, Fla- The Gator football team started spring practice Wednesday in Gainesville, as new head coach Will Muschamp starts his run as head coach.

The team worked without pads, spending time putting in the new offensive scheme of Charlie Weis, as well as Muschamp’s defense.

The Gators finish spring practice with the Orange and Blue game on April 9th. In the meantime the team is getting in the work needed to make a smooth transition.

“We've been really careful with what we're going to ask our players to do. Not spoon feeding them, but putting them in the right situations where they can be successful on both sides of the ball,” Muschamp said. “Then evolve a little bit to what we want to be."
