Grand Slam Crowns World Series Champs at Session One's Final

Panama City Beach, FL---Youth baseball teams continued the fight for a Grand Slam World Series title as the first of four sessions for the summer came to a close.

The 12 year old Panama City Beach Bashers advanced to the championship game against a team from North Texas called the Dirtbags, who scored two in the first.

The Bashers cut the lead in half in the first with a bunt RBI single/

Thunder and lightning put a pause on the game soon after. They'd get the game in, but Bashers end up falling 4-1.

They finished in 2nd place for the 12 year old age group.

In the nine year old bracket, the Panama City Hooks also came in second place for their tournament.
