Grand Slam World Series of Baseball back at Frank Brown Park

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla-Frank Brown Park is once again playing host to the Grand Slam World Series little league baseball tournament.

Thousands of kids on 140 different teams competing over the last several days out there. Several local clubs included in those numbers, like the Lynn Haven Longhorns who played Wednesday night.

It's a huge event for the area, bringing in thousands of people for three separate week long sessions of baseball. In total over 500 teams will compete this summer.

"Its growing every year. I mean its all about the destination," Grand Slam owner Larry Thompson Jr. said. "Grand Slam we like to think the baseball is good and we do alot for the kids. But you put the destination and Grand Slam together, and youv'e got a win-win.
