Gulf Coast Baseball Team Loses to Andrew College

Panama City, FL---The Gulf Coast baseball team is off to a tough start in the three day Kevin Miller Baseball Classic!

The Commodores hosting Andrew College out of Cuthberth Georgia Thursday afternoon, with Andrew walking away with a 7-6 win. That loss dropping the Commodores record to 3-2 in the early part of this season.

Gulf Coast will play again Friday morning at ten against St. Johns River.

The attached video shows the following:

Pick it up bottom three, Commodores trailing three zip, they get two on with one out, but are unable to score, a strikeout and the Matt Miller grounder ends the threat.

Top of the 4th, Andrew pushes across a 4th run, Cole Murphy's single up the middle getting that done.

Bottom half Commodores rally, a Trevin Hall solo homer makes it 4-1, then Danny Aviles singles with the bases full to push Tevin Miller home.

Dalton Kelly then smokes one towards the first, the throw home a bit wide, catcher can't haul it in, it's 4-3.

Then Bay alum Kevin Husum grounds to short, turns into a run scoring fielder's choice which plates Rutherford alum Dakato Spikes, that tied the game at 4.
