Gulf Coast Beats Walters State Moving Winning Streak to 8

Panama City, FL-- Coach Jay Powell and his Commodores are now 8-1 on the season after defeating Walters State 78-70.
Gulf Coast managed to win both games at the Gulf Coast Thanksgiving Classic though both wins were by a combined margin of 10 points (69-67 vs. Wallace State and 78-70 vs. Walters State).
The leading scorer for Saturday's game was Jose Rodriguez with 23 points.
The next game for the Commodores will be this Friday against the State College of Florida.
