Panama City, FL---Gulf Coast and Chipola continue to share the lead at the top of the Panhandle Conference standings, with each team racking up wins Friday night.
Gulf Coast won on the home field, beating Tallahassee 6-1. West Covington pitching 6 innings of one run baseball, while striking out 6.
Trevor Davis providing all the offense necessary with a two run homer in the bottom of the 4th. So Gulf Coast now 30-8 overall, 7-2 in conference play. The Commodores have won 6 straight.
Chipola meanwhile keeping pace with a comeback win on the road in Niceville, beating Northwest Florida 6-5. Ryan Fucci with a homer in the bottom of the 8th to give the Raiders a 5-4 lead. The Indians though come back with two in the top of the 9th, Mars and Merrigan with rbi singles to plate those two runs.
So Chipola now 28-7 overall, 7-2 in conference. Again that leaves them tied with Gulf Coast for first in the standings.
The Commodores play at Tallahassee Saturday, Chipola hosts Northwest.

-A short time later Cameron Ragsdale races in on the wild pitch to give Gulf Coast a 4-0 lead. Commodores on the way to a 6-1 win, Covington the win, so they're 7-2, 30-8 overall.
