Panama City, FL-- After finishing 4th in the National Tournament the Gulf Coast Lady Commodores loaded up the buses in Salina, Kansas Sunday in hopes of making it back to Panama City but the trip didn't go as smoothly as their season did.

After finishing the year 29-6 and winning the state title, it turned out the weather would be one of the Lady Commodore's toughest opponents as they had to be rerouted due to freezing temperatures and even some snow in the Midwest.

Coach Skeete was just thankful they made it back safe and sound,

"Well just grateful for the opportunity to be able to get back here and have all the kids come back in one piece. I guess after we get here it will settle a little bit, what we actually did this year. It will start sinking in but right now we are just grateful for traveling graces and mercies that we were able to make it back here safely."
