Gulf Coast Wins Second Game of Doubleheader

Panama City, FL---Gulf Coast baseball still has that brand new feeling only a little over two weeks in.

As they hosted the Kevin Miller Classic, the Commodores, who split their Friday and Saturday games, looked for some momentum to carry out on a four game road trip. Weekend play ended with a double header at Frazier Field Sunday.

After falling 14-7 in the first game to Chatahootchee Valley, Jordan Worthing looked to own Alabama Southern in the highlights attached above and he did early here in the second getting the punch out. He didn't surrender a hit till the forth.

Mason Macdougall of Alabama Southern, not fairing as well. Gave up five runs in the first and in the second, surrenders a leadoff single to Trevor Davis, who'd later advance to second.

Nick Flair is gonna bring him on in after he unloads on one to left center way out into the night sky that ball's gone. The Commodores up 7-0.

Alabama Southern trying to get anything going, but check the glove work from Davis! The diving catch ends the inning.

Gulf Coast goes on to take it by a final of 7-1. They're now 6-2 on the campaign.
