Gulf Coast looks to snap losing streak against TCC

PANAMA CITY, Fla- It's a question tossed around quite a bit in this area in recent days, what's wrong with the Commodores. The Gulf Coast baseball team in the midst of a rather tough losing streak, in fact heading into play Wednesday, ten straight conference losses.

No doubt having 17 freshman on the roster in this league has a lot to do with the struggles. Could coach Kandler's young squad put the brakes on that skid in a home game against TCC this afternoon?

1st Inning and some good base running by Terrance Gore, he steals second and the throw is off so he motors to third base with no outs...

Two batters later and Nick Ratajczak brings him home with the sac fly...1-0 Dores.

Bottom of the 3rd now, and again Gore on third, this time it's D'Andre Toney hitting the liner down the third base line and Gore comes home to make it 2-0 Gulf Coast.

Couple of Batters later, Mike Maddell follows suit with the liner down the third base line and he brings in Toney with the RBI single...3-0 Dores.

Gulf Coast adds a run but gives up 3 in the top of the 9th and almost let's it get away but they pull out the 4-3 win to snap the losing streak in conference play.
