Gulf Coast looks to continue it's winning softball ways with a pair of games against Johnson County out of Kansas.

Panama City, FL--On to the juco softball diamond as Gulf Coast continues to prep for the start of conference play with a pair of games against Johnson County, a team that's come to Northwest Florida all the way from Kansas, incorporating it's Spring Break into some away games. Lady Commodores won game won 4-0 this is action from game two, they trail one zip in the third, two on for Johansen who lays down the bunt, ball dribbles away from the first baseman, Hanewinckel holds at third, Shaquel Johnnson rounds second too far, is thrown out, Hanewinckel breaks for home and makes it, tying the game at one. Gulf Coast starter Sarah Steiner, working to keep it tied, she goes 5 innings, just the run on 2 hits. Gives way to Hamilton who tosses two shutout in relief, and she gets the win courtesy Fort Walton Beach alum Hannah Renn's two run bomb to center, 3-1 the game two final so Gulf Coast gets the sweep, goes to 29-5.
