Gulf Coast opens home tournament with a win

PANAMA CITY,Fla- The Gulf Coast Commodores picked up a win in men's basketball in their Thanksgiving classic.

Led by Jay Wade's 17, and Autis Gibson's 15 the Dores beat South Georgia Tech 82-69 in the opening night of their Thanksgiving classic at the Billy Harrison Field-house at Gulf Coast.

With the win Gulf Coast improves to 6-4 on the season. They play Saturday at 4p.m. against Walters State to wrap up play in the tournament.
