Crestview, FL---Northwest Florida has yet another prep football coaching change to talk about.
Crestview principal Bob Jones says Kevin Pettis has stepped down as Crestview's head coach. Pettis is taking the head coaching job at Sebastian River downstate.
Pettis led the Bulldogs for two seasons, 8-12 overall, 4-6 this past season.
Pettis telling the Northwest Florida Daily News one thing that attracted him to the Sebastian River job, it's coaching only, not an A.D. role on top of that, something he did have at Crestview.
Pettis will stay on through the end of this month. He'll likely see 3 of his players sign Wednesday on signing day.
