CHIPLEY, FL- It was showdown number two between 1-A powers Holmes and Chipley. The Blue Devils won their previous meeting last month by six in Bonifay.

Chipley's head coach Joel Orlando and his Tigers trying to even the score tonight. A capacity crowd of around 1,500 on hand, and they had plenty of reason to cheer as Alex Hamilton and Cameron Dozier did not disappoint.

Hamilton led the way for Chipley with 29 points, while Dozier pitched in 19. Holmes was led by Chris Walker with 32 points, but it was all Chipley from the opening minutes on as they get the 74-43 win. Tigers are now 8-3 overall, and 2-1 in 1A district 2. Blue Devils fall to 7-5, and 1-1 in 1A district 2 play.
